  Glass makes me an artist. Glass fascinates me, the way it transmits and reflects light, how it changes color and the colors of things around it.

 

Glass is ancient and the things people have done with it are remarkable. Today fusible glass is beautiful, abundant and a pleasure to work with.

I’ve been playing and working with glass, and collecting it, since childhood. Stained glass windows and lamps, glass blowing and flame work, and now fusing and casting.

In support of my glass habits I practiced law in Santa Rosa, California. My office was filled with glass and I could watch the glass colors play with the white and yellow pages of my work.
