  Glass fascinates me because it transmits, reflects and refracts light.  It changes color as the sun moves across it and glass changes the colors of things around it.

 

Glass is ancient and the things people have done with it are remarkable. Today fusible glass is beautiful, abundant and a pleasure to work with.

I’ve been working with glass and collecting it since childhood. Stained glass windows and lamps, glass blowing and flame work, and now fusing and casting.

When I practiced law in Santa Rosa, California, my office was filled with glass and I watched the glass colors play with the white and yellow pages of my work.
